Ryze is a networking resource for professionals and businesses. The website encourages users to connect and expand their existing networks. The user is given a networking oriented homepage that allows them to get out in the Ryze community and make better connections. Users can also participate in deals by finding those who have the resources they need through Ryze. The website also advises users to try and build up their network before they need it to help ensure success in the future. The website contains a long list of available active networks. These cover a huge variety of industries and topics, including business, full spectrum creativity, women in networking, small businesses, money and wealth, thinking outside the box, writers areas, personal sovereignty, Christian women of power, network marketing, suggestions, spiritual entrepreneurs and many more.
Ryze was founded by its current CEO, Adrian Scott. The website was intended to help users connect with those they know and grow their professional network. This would allow each user to benefit by tapping into a larger pool of knowledge and resources when they needed it. Today the Ryze community includes networks hosted by over 1,000 organizations.
Ryze gives users a place to socialize and network. The relationships formed here could prove useful and mutually beneficial later when both parties need assistance or resources to begin an undertaking. Although the features and functions are very similar to social networks, Ryze also brings in over 1,000 organizations who hose networks on the website. This gives users a huge variety of networks to join and participate in. The current community includes more than 300,000 individuals.
The Ryze website uses a red, silver and white color scheme. A large part of the website seems a bit bland, containing primarily white space, black text and blue links. The red and silver logo and navigational tabs at the top of the page breathe a little life into the look. The tabs give the user access to the friend invitation form, networks, friends lists, events and the classifieds area. Overall the website is outdated but easy to navigate and does not assault the user with banner ads or other advertisements.
A new user can join the Ryze community by clicking the blue “Ryze is free – click here to sign up now” link along the upper, left hand side of the homepage. This will take the user to the registration form which asks for a first and last name, email address, public username and password. A brief note at the bottom of the form advises the user that by submitting their details they are automatically agreeing to the Ryze terms of service. After filling out the profile form, the user is asked to check their email inbox for a confirmation message which must be accessed to complete registration.
Anyone can create a Ryze account for free. There are no subscription fees or other costs for joining the community. The user is given access to all basic features and can utilize them as often as they like. Advanced features are also provided for around $10 per month. These include up to 25 other member contacts per month, the ability to build a custom network and the ability to see who wants to network with the user. Users can access their free Ryze account for as long as they like before signing up for the advanced features (which is not a requirement to maintain an account).
Ryze is a resource for business owners and professionals who are interested in growing their networks. The website includes an enormous list of networks and gives the user a large community to explore. We recommend to try another business networking site first.
